The 30-second version ElevenLabs sells credits, and one credit is roughly one character of text on its standard Multilingual v2 model — so 1,000 credits ≈ 1 minute of speech. Plans: Free (10k credits, non-commercial), Starter $6 (30k, commercial use, instant cloning), Creator $22 (121k, professional cloning, API; first month $11), Pro $99 (600k), Scale $299 (1.8M, 3 seats), Business $990 (6M, 10 seats). Per minute that's about $0.20 (Starter), $0.18 (Creator), $0.17 (Pro). For most creators the answer is Starter to test, Creator to work. Annual billing is roughly two months free.

ElevenLabs vs the alternatives on price

Murf's Creator plan is $29 for 2 hours ($0.24/min) with no cloning; ElevenLabs Creator is $22 for ~2 hours ($0.18/min) with professional cloning. On price alone ElevenLabs wins at every comparable tier. Murf's case is its studio editor, Canva integration and flat, predictable hours — see ElevenLabs vs Murf. Compared with AI video tools, voice is an order of magnitude cheaper per minute (Synthesia Starter is $2.42/min), so if your project never needs a face on screen, don't pay for one.
